Trails Maps

Two maps here:
1) A close-up map of the NorthWild property's trail layout and
2) A zoomed-out view of the neighbourhood, including the longer 7-km trail going north.

Trailriding, trail racing, time trials, recreational riding

NorthWild: 100 acres of trails, hills, valleys, streams, challenges and fun riding!

NorthWild Racing

The darker green rectangle on the left is the 100-acre layout of the NorthWild property.
The blue line through the middle is a stream running north-south.
The red lines are approximations of the numerous trails that have been laid in over the preceding 10 to 12 years.

Below is shown the property in context to the land & roads around it.

In this zoomed-out view, the NorthWild property is visible further down.
More of the stream running
north-south is visible.
The red lines on the property are
trails inside property lines.
However, the dashed orange line going
north from the property follows the old
access road that goes north for about
six or seven kilometers.

The round trip then can be about 12-14
kilometers, OR, a rider can follow
some path signs at the north end
and POSSIBLY eventually end up
in Huntsville, after a 30+ km-long
ride on trails that have been set out
by local snowmobilers, but may not
be maintained during summer.

Note that the condition of the
access road becomes highly
unpredictable the further you go.

At some points it crosses rickety
wooden bridges over streams,
at others the two ruts become some
rather sloppy indentations of mud.
Fallen logs, emerged rocks
 and other hazards are present.

Riders must be fully prepared
to tackle this level of challenge.
